A panel with international views!

Panel SILS 2015

Five experts from as many countries on two continents: our international panel promises some very interesting exchanges on the following issue: « Aging of the population: opportunity or threat? »

Again this year, we brought together representatives from organizations involved in entrepreneurship, innovation, research, and education, from Sweden, Wales, Belgium, the United States and Canada:

Carine Boonen, Coordinator, Flanders’ Care (Belgium)

Susanne Iwarsson, Professor and Holder of Mary and Seved Ribbing’s professorship in gerontology and care for older people, Lund University (Sweden)

Lewis A. Lipsitz, Director, Institute for Aging Research, Hebrew SeniorLife (USA)

Judith Phillips, Professor of Gerontology and Director of the Research Institute for Applied Social Sciences, Swansea University (Wales)

Rémi Quirion, Chief Scientist of Québec, will be moderator for this promising panel.

They will share their innovative initiatives, research results and their own views with regards to aging and autonomy. This will no doubt inspire us to be more innovative!

Our panelists will gladly answer questions from participants.

Be there, September 30th at 12:15 PM!
